Yusef Qualls-El's Letter from prison

Yusef Qualls-El, a PCAP artist and writer whom you might recall me mentioning was also a narrator in the Viral Monologues project earlier this summer, has written an account of losing a friend of his (a juvenile lifer, like Yusef himself) during the pandemic.

His cover letter to me expressed frustration over the fact that the people who most need to hear these kinds of stories are not listening. I think it’s up to us to do all we can to get accounts like this one into the hands of everyone we possibly can.
